First Attack 2014 Event Recap

This past weekend, our very own Jonathan "Rico Suave" Deleon competed at First Attack held at Distillery Club Caribe in Cidra, Puerto Rico. This two day event featured Ultra Street Fighter 4, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Blazblue: Chronophantasma, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Killer Instinct with secondary games including Injustice: Gods Among Us. Check out VODs from First Attack by Team Spooky at their YouTube channel.

Rico Suave dominated throughout the pools and brackets earning 1st in Injustice and 2nd in Killer Instinct. In Ultra Street Fighter IV, Rico made it to Round 3 of the Winners bracket, but unfortunately lost to GG Chris G, the winner of USF4. During the trail back in the losers brackets, Rico ultimately lost to EG PR Balrog in Losers Round 4, earning him 5th place in USF4. Check out the full top 16 USF4 brackets here.

The next event on Rico Suave's schedule is Shadowloo Showdown V in Melbourne, Australia on August 29-31. More info will be announced soon.
